Timor 2026

This coffee comes from the Cooperativa Café Timor, located in the high altitude area of East Timor.  Established in 1994, CCT is a collection of over 25,000 small family owned farms, each averaging less than a hectare. Since inception, CCT has helped many producers achieve organic certification as well as establish best farm management practices.

Coffee cultivation was established in East Timor over 400 years ago by Portuguese colonists. However, due to an epidemic of coffee leaf rust which destroyed production, todays coffee trees are the creation of a new varietal, Hibrido de Timor which was introduced in the 1990s and supplanted the originals.
