Tanzanian Peaberry

This Tanzania Peaberry is sourced from small family owned farms located in the southern highlands of  south central Tanzania.   Peaberry refers to the bean shape.  Noticeably smaller and rounder, it is formed during the maturation of one seed per cherry (monocot) rather than the typical two seeds (dicot).   After following the typical washing and sun drying process, the peaberry is then sorted during the milling process and is considered distinct in its flavor profile.
