Rwanda Dukunda Kawa Mbilima

Dukunde Kawa, a well-known producer group located in northern Rwanda, supports over 2000 farmers and multiple washing stations including Mbilima in the Gakenke Distirict north of Kigali.  The cooperative, whose workforce is more than 80% women, carries multiple certifications having placed an emphasis on sustainable practices across its business structure.   

Situated at elevations above 2000 meters, the area's mineral rich volcanic soil and lush environment contributes to the quality of these coffees.   Showing snappy acidity, stone fruit flavors and fragrant herbaceousness, Rwanda's coffee is completely unique.
