Java Kayumas Estate

This coffee is sourced from the Kayumas or "Golden Wood" Estate situated in the northeast area of the Bondowoso province in East Java. First established in low lying areas by the Dutch in the 18th century this estate moved into the highland plateaus after devastating leaf rust disease destroyed most of the production in the 19th century. The higher altitude and volcanic soil there provide perfect growing conditions for high quality coffees. - fully washed
