El Salvador Finca La Esperanza - natural
Finca La Esperanza in the Quezaltepeque region of El Salvador is 1 of the 15 estates managed by the Belismelis-Alvarez family. Descending from Spanish settlers who arrived in the mid-1800s, this is the sixth generation to be involved in the coffee business. Located on the lower slopes of the San Salvador volcano along the border of El Boqueron National Park, Finca La Esperanza is well positioned with excellent soil nutrition and over-story tree canopy. Using integrated farming, fertilizing, and renovation practices they have kept most of the original bourbon cultivars healthy and productive for generations. Careful processing ensures these naturals offer a fruit-forward yet balanced and chocolatey cup profile; a one-of-a-kind offering from El Salvador.
Cup Profile: chocolate cherry, raspberry, cola, creamy - light/medium roast
