DECAF - Costa Rica - H2O

This Costa Rica Decaf has a similar cup quality to our Costa Rica “El Tigre”, a staple of our regular coffee offerings.  It shows a bit less acidity but features slight nuttiness and maintains a clean profile. 

It is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, a chemical-free method that removes 99.9% of caffein from green coffee.  The raw coffee is immersed in clean water which allows the coffee to expand and the caffein to be extracted via osmosis.  It is then passed through activated carbon-charcoal to remove the caffeine molecules.
