Mantiqueira de Minas in the state of Minas Gerais is a protected region so designated because of its renowned coffee reputation.  An area known for its rolling hills and uneven terrain, it provides optimal growing conditions for high quality coffee. 

Sourced from family owned farms, these small producers are organized through cooperatives intent on introducing these coffees to international markets.  The pulped natural (honey) process brings a subtle brown sugar sweetness to the cup.
