Guatemala Huehuetenango - Mam

Huehuetenango is the northern most province of Guatemala near the Mexican border.   The terrain here is rugged and the weather extreme but the area is well suited for coffee growing. 

For this coffee the indigenous families with small farms have partnered with the export company UNEX for support.  Each farm uses their own micro-mill to processes their coffee from harvest through drying.  UNEX provides a centralized warehouse and facilitates preparation for export.
